Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina + Latin America Authorized Rhino Trainers (ARTs) are technical experts who have met the requirements to offer official Rhino training. By earning this ART authorization, they join an exclusive network of instructors recognized for their high-quality teaching and certification from their McNeel regional office.

With this authorization, instructors gain a competitive advantage by publishing courses on the Rhino training page and being listed on the website in the Custom Training section. They can also access additional training and ART-exclusive webinars, depending on the region.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Complete the 4 required courses included in the package before training.
  • The required courses are: Introduction to Rhino 8, Intermediate Rhino 8 , 2D Technical Drawing , and SubD . (See package contents below.)
  • An optional Rendering course is available, but not required.
  • Have an updated Rhino license .
  • Attend the Online Training for new ARTs :
  • 12-hour online course (6 guided sessions of 2 hours each) plus 12 hours of independent work.
  • Mandatory attendance.
  • Submit assignments and exercises for instructor review.
  • Make corrections if requested.
  • Pass the Rhino Level 2 Certification Exam .
  • You must pass the Level 2 exam before or after attending new ART training.
  • Submit a video or written Rhino tutorial demonstrating a lesson on a topic of your choice.
  • The topic must be previously approved by the instructor in one of the training sessions.
  • Be willing to make corrections if requested.

EXTRAS

The next Mandatory ART Candidate Training will be presented online by the McNeel Miami office. It is typically offered twice a year.
The six sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for two weeks.

May 12-16, 2025 – Course confirmation. A minimum of six participants is required to guarantee the training.

June 11-13 and 18-20 – Six training sessions. Each session lasts two hours, plus two hours of independent work. The schedule would be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST (Miami, FL).

October 2025 – Course confirmation. A minimum of 6 participants is required to guarantee the training.
